A family business since 1966

It starts in 1966, with a garage in Sassenheim. Maarten Verschoor Sr. is a skilled mechanic with a sharp eye for opportunity. As recovery work grows, he builds his own recovery equipment — and lays the groundwork for a specialist in lifting and transport.

In 1996 his son, Maarten Verschoor Jr., takes the next step: UCM Holland. A company of his own, trading in used mobile cranes and parts. Cranes we dismantle ourselves, so every component gets a second life instead of ending up as scrap.

Today UCM Holland works with the wider Verschoor family business. The group employs more than 100 people, and the third Verschoor generation is now active in the company. Still based in Sassenheim. Still a family business — now with customers in more than 140 countries.

Thousands of parts, direct from stock

Our warehouse holds over 12,000 unique parts: booms, jibs, winches, axles, cylinders, counterweights and more. All registered with part numbers, dimensions and weights, taken from cranes we dismantled ourselves. Orders placed today ship the same day or the next working day.

Besides parts from stock, UCM has its own workshop. Repair, maintenance and conversion are done by our own qualified mechanics — no middleman, no delay from outsourcing.
